ஐந்தாவது வகுப்பு வரை மட்டும் காலை உணவு வழங்கும் திட்டம் இருக்கும் பள்ளியில் மாண்புமிகு அமைச்சர் PTR முன்னர் ஒரு மாணவன் மயங்கி விழுகிறான். அவன் வகுப்பு 6 முதல் 8ஆம் வகுப்பு category. எனவே அவனுக்கு உணவில்லை, அதனால் பசி மயக்கம். ஊட்ட சத்து குறைபாடுடன் under weight வேறு. பதறிய Dr.PTR உதவியாளரிடம் அந்த பையன் normal weight வரவைக்க வேண்டும், அது உனது பொறுப்பு என்று சொல்லி விட்டு பையனிடம் நன்றாக சாப்பிட்டு healthy weight ஆகு உனக்கு பிடித்த பரிசு தருகிறேன் என்கிறார். அவனும் cycle வேண்டும் என்று சொல்ல, இந்த உதவியாளர் அந்த பையனை தொடர்ந்து அவன் வீட்டுக்கு சென்று goal weight அடைய Dates, ஊட்ட சத்து உள்ள உணவு என்று தினமும் கொடுத்து கண்காணிக்கிறார். கடைசியில் அவன் normal weight வந்து அமைச்சர் PTR யிடம் இருந்து cycle பரிசாக வாங்குகிறான்.

இது குழந்தை விஷ்வாவின் கதை மட்டுமில்லை. இதனால் பயன் அடைந்தது Vishwa கடந்து அனைத்து மாணவர்களும் கூட. அந்த தொகுதியில் உள்ள எல்லா பள்ளிகளிலும் 6 to 8th category பிரிவு இருந்தால் அந்த மாணவர்கள் எல்லாருக்கும் சேர்ந்து காலை உணவு கிடைக்க கட்டளை இட்டார். எல்லா பள்ளிகளிலும் ஊட்ட சத்து குறைபாடு இருப்பதை கண்டுபிடிக்க சிறப்பு ஆணை விடுத்தார்.

நல்லவர்கள் தான் இந்த மண்ணை ஆள வேண்டும்.

In a government school where the free breakfast scheme stops at 5th standard, a young boy suddenly collapsed right in front of Honourable Minister Dr. PTR.
The reason? Hunger. Since he was in the “grade 6 to 8” category, no meal was provided for him. He was severely underweight and was suffering from malnutrition.

What happened next changed not just changed one child’s life, but the lives of multitudes like him.

Shocked and deeply moved, Dr. PTR turned to his assistant and asked him to make sure that the child reaches a normal, healthy weight. That became the Assistant‘s personal accountability. Then, with genuine care, he gently promised the kid that once he reaches a good weight, he would get a gift. The boy’s eyes lit up and he asked for a cycle.

From that very day, the Minister’s assistant took personal responsibility. He began visiting the boy’s home every single day bringing nutrient-rich foods and balanced meals. He monitored the boy’s weight, encouraged him, and ensured he ate properly.
Weeks turned into months.
And one day, the boy now visibly healthier, energetic, and at a normal weight received his dream bicycle as a gift.

But this is not just little Vishwa’s story.
What started as an act of compassion for one starving child became a revolution for an entire constituency.

Moved by this incident, Dr. PTR immediately issued strict orders that in every school across the constituency, if there is a 6th to 8th standard section, every single student must receive breakfast. No child should go hungry.
He went even further. He issued special directives to identify and address malnutrition in all schools, ensuring no child suffers in silence again.

This is what real leadership looks like.
When a leader carries the heart of a father, one moment of compassion can rewrite the destiny of an entire generation.

This incident is actually worth a movie.
