@elonmusk Please no. That would mean you’d have to come back to South Africa. We have enough loudmouth egomaniacs here as it is. (Thankfully your analysis is utter bullshit anyway - there’s no chance of you being deported from the US whatever the results).
@NachoQuixotic@elonmusk You really are a deluded twat. And as an Aussie, what are you doing writing about American Politics? Look in your own backyard. Litany of racial oppression and white washing thereof.
Give this interview of @guybriggs_sa by John Maythem of @CapeTalk a listen - discussing the possibility of Cape Town hosting the Olympics in 2040.

This is certainly a first for Paarl when it comes to the scale of this #development. There is a huge demand for affordable #housing in the Winelands. I also like the multi-use idea of a cricket field - great for #sustainability of the pitch. I am looking forward to seeing this project get off the ground.
@urbanjodi@shaunreznik Absolutely. We put together a larger plan looking at exactly that. Incidentally this current scheme is already performing a social good - by providing a long term source of revenue for the cricket club, so making it sustainable.
@urbanjodi@askash Hmmmm - it’s great to see something different, and even better to hear that it’s a success, but they do look a bit like a row of jurgens caravans …
@brettherron It’s a dense but fascinating article. This case is long overdue. And vital on principles of law, justice and reconciliation. What a pity we’ve had to wait so long.
Cape Town is no longer just a holiday destination. It’s becoming the business capital of South Africa.
They have plans to fix power problems and they experience less blackouts when compared with the rest of the country.
International and local interest continues to increase when it comes to property investment in all asset classes: office, industrial and residential.
Love the DA or hate them, you can’t deny that their province works.
