@elonmusk Just to be clear: You overpaid $44B so you could run a political ad. Moreover, you didn't run the ad until most of the viewers had already left AND the ad sponsor (you) had lost all credibility. #fail
Due to the ongoing (mental) instability and increasing untrustworthiness on Twitter, I've removed the direct posting links to Twitter from FotoForensics.
@elonmusk Why is your trending tweets system promoting a hashtag that is associated with child pornography? Does @twitter still have someone who can report these to NCMEC?
@Pin__Terest Rack mounted. All power and external network come from ceiling drops. So, yeah, big power cables are separate from in-rack network cables.
Just spend a few hours trying to figure out why the router wasn't opening for test service. Turns out, I was trying to configure the wrong router. (Doh!) Time to start up the label maker!
@Pin__Terest Each tag has the HW server name (not hostname) and the network name. This way, I can easily see that every cable in a hub is on the same network AND which machine it at the other end.
@Pin__Terest I ended up going to the machine room and tracing cables. That's when I realized that I was configuring router #7 and tracing the cable to router #9. Router #9 was unlabeled (not anymore!) I use my laser cutter to make custom tags on every cable end, so tracing was easy.
@campuscodi Honest question: Here's what I don't get. They KNOW they are going to get kicked off of cloudflare, digital ocean, google, aws, azure, etc., so why do they always start there?
Long ago, a little kid asked that I did. I told him computer security research. He asked what that meant, and I replied "I make grown ups cry." He totally got it.
My friend is concerned about security on Twitter, so this encrypted message is for him:
