Next up for our new @MCAF_NEAQ fellows, we have Francklin Barbier! He is the sea turtle and seabird coordinator for @HaitiOceanP. Through a community-based approach to conservation, he develops strong relationships with local fishers who are partners in HOP’s conservation work.

With the help of a domestic animal vet from Port au Prince, Dr. Kelly Crowdis, a fishing hook was successfully removed from the throat of this juvenile green sea turtle! #seaturtle #endangeredspecies #Haiti
