A few things I've learned in over 10 years in B2B product roles (and no I haven't always got these things right):
1. Products can't get made without design, engineering & product management being on the same page.

@Susanjo34441302@SpencerHakimian While true for most Hantavirus strains, the difference is that the Andes strain appears to be transmissible through human-to-human contact.
@anthonysexton Just a little test for a small exercise tool ... just started playing on Thursday while doing some admin work and it's been eye opening to say the least. Hope you guys are well!
As an entrepreneurial founder and ex-product manager, days spent in Claude AI and Claude Code are like being able to work with a full product team around the clock and iterate as fast as you can think with no lag. Truly mind blowing. Great for functional MVPs at a minimum.
And hilariously, after reaching the end of the first chat memory, I start a new chat. I bring across a background brief and start working and ... it's like I have a different solution architect all of a sudden😂 Different tone, energy, knowledge & recs.
I stumbled across QLD Fisheries data on shark drumline/net catches since 2001. With everything happening shark-wise in Australia right now, it's sobering data — esp. for the last 5 years (some ~42% of the 19,754 total since 2001).

In many large digitisation programs, "acceptable" quality assurance is still based on reviewing a small sample (~5–10%, higher if budget allows) of scanned documents. Checking closer to 100% has historically been too slow & expensive. What's the best solution? #records#data
@yongfook I find the same with meaningful, short pieces of copy. AI is fine for throwing a few things together and seeing how they might work but 90% I'll go back to starting from scratch pulling a few bits in here and there. If it's process or explanation based I'll definitely use it.
Also love but have no version of the field watch style; a durable and legible watch which has no extra timing complications. Best thread I’ve seen on that is @dieworkwear ‘s https://t.co/RZhI7poX23
Some ppl have asked why anyone would spend a lot of money on a watch, except to signal status. Lately, I've been really into Dirty Dozen watches. The name refers to how 12 companies made watches for the British Ministry of Defense (MoD) during WWII 🧵
For some reason or another I’ve always erred on the side of robust steel dive watches vs other styles. Maybe due to the fact they don’t need to be babied etc. Then this @Sinn_FFM came out of left field and is currently my most enjoyed distraction.

@wesgay@anothercohen Am a fan of Nudie jeans but also going through a Wrangler cowboy cut rigid indigo phase too for cost/benefit and durability at work.
@JPCastlin A lot of time and money would be saved if step 2 was added as “research and understand what has and has not worked in the past in similar situations”. The amount of wheel reinvention boggles the mind.
@dereklwalker 100%. Offering stable employment while paying suppliers & taxes & delivering a great product is the goal. Profit is a reward & shouldn't come at the expense of your people & clients (assuming everyone is doing all they can & are being compensated fairly for efforts).
So proud! My sister Georgie Trickett is currently live on @abcbrisbane talking books with Kat Davidson (standing in for @katherinefeeney ). I've always loved hearing my sister talk — it's so nice hearing people talk so articulately about things they care about in life.
I watched ‘Speed’ with my 10 y/o son tonight and he couldn’t stop saying “This is so exciting” every time there was a plot twist. They don’t make movies like they used to.
