@Iyadboustany if u as man who fathers a baby can give him ur nationality as a natural right for u and them, the same should apply to women who hold that baby 9 months in their womb go thru labor to give them birth and then nurse them for as long as required for their growth...
@Iyadboustany It is the natural right of people who give birth to human beings to give them their nationality. Will we go into a debate of what natural rights human rights and legal rights are? I think this is beyond the scope of this issue
@Iyadboustany I think there is a great diff between fair trade coffee and gender issues. But ofc men don't feel that do they. Like everyone is debating whether women can grant nationality to their kids as if this God given right is even debatable . Seriously
In the end the obstacle to the cabinet formation process still boils down to Aoun's insistence on getting a blocking third so that Bassil can blackmail the country into backing his presidency next year. The presidency remains an incurable Maronite disease: https://t.co/j5omh8mFLU
@Iyadboustany With all due respect in this international game being played in lebanon and whose puppets include Christian parties, the Christians are the last on any player's agenda.
It’s apparent that Aoun’s decision to play hardball on a new cabinet is having damaging consequences for him and Bassil. Without a government, all the blame for the catastrophic situation today is being directed against him, impacting his legacy and Bassil’s future.
The government's ration cards won't change a thing. It's not feasible to implement it in one month, the source of funding is hazy, the mechanism is rubbish and it doesn't tackle the roots of the crisis. Lebanon needs a comprehensive recovery plan to unlock an IMF package
