🧵As we wrap up the academic year at @xrcollaboratory and @cornell_tech, here’s a thread highlighting a few student projects from this semester's CS 5678: 3D User Interfaces, and independent research #3DUI #AR #VR

The students then propose, design, and implement their own 3D selection and manipulation techniques. The following projects are implemented as modular @unity packages (UPM format), extending Unity's XR Interaction Toolkit, documented with manuals and scripting APIs.

Before working on projects, our students learn the fundamentals of 3DUIs and interaction techniques by implementing several classic techniques, such as Go-Go (1996) and Balloon Selection (2007)
