Harlestone Village Institute in readiness for Remembrance Day. The work of over 20 volunteers.

On Sunday 11th November, Armistice Centenary will commence at 7:30am.
Piper James Ward plans to play a couple of tunes from the Harlestone Parish Church gate to the memorial and then "Battle Over” at the memorial. Please join us.

Russ Francis: I didn't realise that litter picking could be such fun!! Brilliantly organised by 2 people, 36 volunteers and 2 hours cleared Harlestone Parish of its litter among other things!! Thanks to Sarah and Richard and all volunteers.

Russ Francis: Please join the BIG Harlestone community litter pick. Sunday 28th October 9.30 am to 12 noon. Meet in the Village Institute car park. Equipment supplied except hi-vis and gloves.

Russ Francis: Half of all red phone boxes have been removed since introduction of mobile phones. Harlestone PC have decided to save these important heritage items by adopting the two in the village. They will house our defibrillators.
