@iRadioTube @someinfosecguy Meltdown was a VERY serious flaw. Spectre was serious, albeit less. Once the #AMDflaws vulns were analyzed, it was clear that they were the equivalent of saying "look - if I have admin permissions I can become admin." They are bugs, no doubt. But they were hardly vulnerabilities.

This is confusing to me. Earlier this year, many reporters were telling me that AMD had no value at all (parotting the #AMDflaws reports).

A key function for CTOs & CISOs is to minimise risk. #amdflaws undeniably exist and pose threat to security. CTOs & CISOs who continue using $AMD chips are not performing their function.
