Went back and hit some more banded bench press with a slightly wider grip, and close grip. I'm going to move these presses into my afternoon session, and hit my shoulders at night only. #BandedBenchPress
70kg/154lbs was great to get a feel of things. Time to get some work in. 90kg/198lbs and 120kg/264lbs with these purple bands. I'm wondering how bands would feel. π€

Banded bench press with 242lbs. I kept the weight relatively low; since I was going to be doing another variation of the bench press. #BandedBenchPress

Started tonight with a banded bench press. Using lighter weight, so I can move it faster. I did 3 sets of 5. The 2nd set... Looks like I can't count. ππ€£π

On Wednesday's, I bench with bands. Those bands either hold kettlebells or use the red one; on the bar.
Since I was running low on time. I worked my way up from 100kg/220lbs on the first set. 120kg/264lbs on the second set.

After the overhead press I did some banded bench press. Three sets of 130kg/286lbs for 5 reps. #BandedBenchPress

I was just about to unload the bar, and go back to work. My friend said; I had more to give. So I grabbed the blue plates, and went to work.
This setup there is tension throughout the lift, and more on the way up.

Banded bench press was on deck after overhead presses. A friend of mine encouraged me to add weight to the bar. The weight started with 120kg/264lbs. The 2nd and 3rd sets were with 130kg/286lbs and then 140kg/308lbs. Looks like I'll push more weight next time. #BandedBenchPress
I started bench pressing on my shoulder training days. Nothing crazy in weight, BUT with some resistance. Also, trying to move the bar with some force. 3 sets of 5 reps. #BandedBenchPress
