これまでは乳がんや卵巣がんなど、癌が見つかった方のみが、保険証で検査でき、病気になる前の方は自費検査(20-30万円)でした。
来月から、家族でHBOCの診断がついた方がいる場合、
その親や兄弟姉妹、子供も保険で検査できると。さらにそこで遺伝が分かったら予防的な手術も通常の保険適応になるとの事。
当院でも調べたかったけど予算的にもためらっていた方は多いので、来月以降ご相談していくと思います🏥
リスクを調べる検査(科学的に質の高いもの)が受けやすくなれば、その後のリスクを下げる行動へ進みやすくなり、メリットが大きくなります。
検査が普及すればサポート体制も強化され、予防治療の強化という社会変容につながり、良い意味での医療費適正配分、国民の幸せ向上につながるかもしれません😊

New from @Nature: A team led by MSK breast medical oncologist Dr. Pedram Razavi found that tumors with germline #BRCA2 mutations or homologous recombination deficiency (HRD) are more likely to develop RB1 loss during treatment with CDK4/6 inhibitors, leading to therapeutic resistance.
