Oft bedeutet Multilingualität, andere europäische Sprachen in Interface und Datenbasis aufzunehmen. Sicher, auch Englisch und Französisch bedeuten Multilingualität. ABER: Es gibt aber auch Forscher:innen und Usergroups außerhalb Europas. #decolonizeDH #dhd2022
How can #digitalhumanities help in addressing these problems? A first step could be to acknowledge limitations of data, methods and (re)presentation (this includes the issue of digital monolingualism) and to become aware of hegemony, power and violence in #dh. 2/2 #decolonizedh
