Things get interesting when we do the math.

When you break down a $BTC into satoshis (divisible to 8 decimal places) and compare it to an $XRP to drop (divisible to 6 decimal places) the actual total supply is only 47.62X more $XRP.
All things being equal (if these we both being used for their utility not just being hyped) a 59,000 $USD $BTC is comparable to a 1,238.97 $USD per $XRP.

The article projects failure without looking objectively at previously demonstrated success.
It also implies the guy who wrote the manifesto has forgotten its content and no longer operates by it.
Both of these are clear underestimations.
Here is why:
Sometimes being first can trap you in an inescapable paradigm (this is why $BTC struggles to evolve).
There is a LOT to be said for embracing the process of observing, learning, then improving upon. #3M used this model to great success.
- Early #OpenCoin devs observed $BTC, learned its weaknesses, then improved the design.
- They observed centralized exchanges, learned their weaknesses, the improved upon the concept with a #DecentralizedOrderBook.
- Ryan Fuggar observed the problems with handling FX swaps, learned the weaknesses, and built the #RippleProtocol in response. Not doubt he understood (and was influenced by) Asset backed systems of the past and the Bancor design introduced (but not adopted) at Brettan Woods.
- They observed the success of #AMM systems like #Uniswap and improved the #XRPL to support liquidity pools natively (avoiding the limitations that constrain #EvmSmartContract based pools).
- They observed the interoperability success of side chains like #Polygon and improved on it with the #XRPL #EvmSideChain.
- $RLUSD #StableCoin?
I have #ZeroDoubt that $RLUSD is NOT spreading themselves too thin.
Why? Because (like all these other improvements) it increases the usefulness of the #XRPL. Plus, @Ripple has had a chance to observe, learn from, and will very likely improve on the weaknesses of $USDT (they clearly already know how to do this).

Is the goal to be first or is the goal to build solutions that create new outcomes that fulfill demand?

1. #CBDCs are the #UltimateStableCoin (#CentralBankIssued not #CorporationIssued).
2. #CBDCs will need a bridge that is ISO20022 compliant, conforms to regulations, is low cost to transact on, is free of middlemen taking a cut on every transaction, conforms to #AML regulations, and is #KYC’d from end to end.
3. #CBDCs are not encumbered with national debt. Starting. with a clean slate on a new financial backbone is how #GoldenEras begin.
Experts who ask you to not average down are the same ones who would advocate doubling of SIP when the market is down. Quality of #stock matters.
