@BBCLucyAdams @BBCNews Lucy, I think a programme dedicated to #mesh suffering is totally needed. We are STILL being pushed from pillar to post whilst trying to survive each day 😢

Remove her completely, replacement. Don’t care at this point. But I’ll be damned if I watch it with her in it even if it’s for 5 min.

Why would any #Surgeon do this if they didn't have the Experience and Surgical Skill Set to DO a #FullRemoval Risking further HARM? #Mesh is NOT meant to come out. #MeshHorrors
I was at the Scottish parliament in March 2019, less than 2 months after my #fullremoval. STM was still blocking news of @DrVeronikis and images of 28+cm transobturator removals.

Access to #mesh healthcare injustice? - 🏴 races ahead - 🇮🇪🏴🏴govt, committees, public health officials had exactly the same info but ignore patients right for #fullremoval surgery @ladymcbeth2 @miJemima @AnnaCCampaigns @sharmanlynne @karen40n https://t.co/sxorExCHku

No keyboards in sight.
Autonomy of choice and #fullremoval- Are surgeons who have limited removal skills pushing a benefit outweigh the risks argument to cover up the fact that few perform them? @teddiesmum @miJemima @NeilFindlay_MSP @nursenormski @karen40n @SusanMorgan19 @MeshiesU @channing_stella
@BevHolt1 @MaryRMcLaughlin @channing_stella @teddiesmum @NMacFa @urohash @IMMDSReview @NHSEngland @miJemima @MeshiesU @SusanMorgan19 @MeshUKCT @AnnaCCampaigns @karen40n @nursenormski @BAUSurology @RCObsGyn @RCSnews @lsutherlandqc @BorisJohnson @NewcastleHosps Yes I understand that Bev but patients have mesh removal because they are experiencing symptoms. That is the driver for surgery. So surely the most important metric post surgery is symptom change? If all mesh removed and symptoms remain that’s not a success in my book.
#Mesh and Hardship Fund - @NeilFindlay_MSP kicks starts 2020 #mesh debates. New Motion to alleviate ££s impact of #mesh injury. Quality of life decisions- women desperate for #fullremoval surgical skills. @ladymcbeth2 @Sunday_Post @CazChisholm @teddiesmum @miJemima @karen40n
@teddiesmum @JuliaCumberlege @miJemima @karen40n @CazChisholm @PolyPossum @Gill87199602 @NMacFa @JanisUrban @MeshiesU @Carolyn68250628 @nursenormski @SusanMorgan19 @IMMDSReview @BevHolt1 @STLFrog @BAUSurology Another doc tweeted in fullremoval debate: "Please please .. some sanity here . In a small group of patients partial removal may be appropriate to avoid further harm . Further published data may help with this." Again no data on #fullremoval. Informed consent crucial.
@chrisharding123 @miJemima @teddiesmum @karen40n @channing_stella @NMacFa @nursenormski @PolyPossum That is simply incorrect. The #notafullremoval issue was uncovered when Dr Veronikis put pictures up of removed mesh. It had nothing to do with mesh campaign groups at the time. My campaign for #fullremoval started after he came on social media. One doctor. One patient.
@publichealthni @miJemima @karen40n @nursenormski @NMacFa @CazChisholm @farrellyjune @LYDBIN @RuthBurnham8 I blocked Janine when I was lying catherized post-op for a #fullremoval in the USA. Janine and her cronies were attacking myself, @teddiesmum and another lady. All of us in the same hotel a few days post-op. Any reasonable person would block such toxicity.
#Mesh removal - Has the medical community lost its focus? For many patients #fullremoval of the mesh is a successful outcome in itself. @miJemima @karen40n @teddiesmum @channing_stella @CazChisholm @PolyPossum @RuthBurnham8 @BevHolt1 @SusanMorgan19 @esse_marie @chrisharding123
Further to this I appreciate that a picture of a fully removed mesh may not always equate to a successful outcome for the patient -which is of course THE most important metric. In England when mesh centres are selected I have asked NHSE to mandate outcome sharing and benchmarking
Each individual injured #mesh & extended family & friends have done trojan work with media & local TD's pushing forward to meet @SimonHarrisTD #teamwork every corner of the world wants change #independentreview #retrospectiveaudit #fullremoval #fully #trained #surgicalteams
Glad to hear @meshsurvivorire are meeting @SimonHarrisTD in November. He kept his promise! Essential to hear personally from those injured by #mesh implants @ByrneJacintha @HoareVeronica
#Mesh and no guarantees - "as far as possible" is not a catch-all phrase to excuse a #notafullremoval surgeon. Safe #Fullremoval surgeons may leave mesh behind due to high risk . eg. on the bone, near major artery. Not a default excuse to leave behind 2/3 TVTO on regular basis.
@MaryRMcLaughlin @karen40n @miJemima @nursenormski @ladymcbeth2 @GillWatt4 @paleblueemzy #fullremoval is vital it should be done in ONE surgery 🤔
@nursenormski @miJemima @channing_stella @PolyPossum @RuthBurnham8 @BevHolt1 @Gill87199602 @gina_knows and now some of them are tweeting about the shortage of removal surgeons when they were chasing the global world mesh removal surgeon off Twitter for showing #fullremoval pictures and then again a few weeks ago when #Scotland is moving into gear to bring his help to #Scotland.
@kfmradio highlighting #complications of #mesh and the lack of trained surgeons to do #Fullremoval @SimonHarrisTD thanks to @MaryRMcLaughlin on todays airing excellent information highlighted
@kfmradio thanks again for raising awareness of Mesh Injured women in Ireland. The interview today with was very comprehensive. @meshsurvivorire @SimonHarrisTD @MiriamOCal @NorahCasey
