Anthropic afferma che Project Glasswing ha identificato più di 10.000 candidati di vulnerabilità gravi nel suo primo mese in oltre 1.000 progetti open-source. La revisione umana ha confermato 1.726 difetti sfruttabili, inclusi 1.094 classificati come alti o critici. Lo sforzo ha finora prodotto 97 patch upstream e 88 avvisi di sicurezza.
Il segnale chiave non è il volume di scoperte grezze, ma il ritardo nella correzione. Il triage assistito dall'IA sta ora facendo emergere difetti gravi più velocemente di quanto i manutentori e i fornitori possano assorbire, convalidare e patcharli.
