Through our Regional Education Policy Framework, we aim to address the concerns of this large segment of the population by working closely with the Member State Ministries of Education, Development Partners, among other key stakeholders to ensure that children and youth receive accessible, quality, equitable, appropriate, and inclusive #education in all our Member States. #IGADUpdates: In representation of @DrWorkneh, Mr. David Kwaje, #IGAD Head of Mission to South Sudan, led the IGAD team in a meeting with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of South Sudan, headed by Amb. Anthony Kon, Director General for Multilateral Relations. The meeting convened a Mid-Term Review of the IGAD Regional Strategy 2021-2025. Discussions focused on implementation progress, challenges encountered, and recommendations for future effective implementation.

#IGADUpdates 📢 New Project Alert We are thrilled to announce the launch of a new project, Climate Data, Modeling and Storylines for East Africa that was launched by our climate adaptation center @icpac_igad in partnership with @CrafdData and @NORCAPweb. The project will focus on drought and flood disasters in Eastern Africa, using advanced systems to create realistic stories about these events to better understand risks and prepare for them.
