People always make me laugh The Texans and their staff spend HOURSSSSSS and MONTHS on scouting, they chat with players, they watch film, goto pro days, goto combine, have meetings and visits, and all the things. They know what the player brings (more than just the tape you see). It's a lot more than just seeing talent and drafting lol. Culture, leadership, all these things are so important to Demeco and Nick Just cause someone is highly touted by media and fans, doesn't mean anything. Some of those guys are more often busts. Kamari Lassiter, Bullock, Pitre, Harris, Tank, Sting, ect. - All were not guys that you all wanted. (Kool Aid, Cooper DeJean, Sauce, others). Upset at the time of the pick, and now you love them cause they were RIGHT FOR THIS TEAM AND CULTURE. The Texans get who they want. They don't just want anyone. Please just trust the process and stop complaining cause we didn't get who you think is the next start OL or WR. Those guys could flop as much as anyone.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported the Houston Texans are calling " into the top half of the first round to potentially move up." He didn't name a target, but "one NFC executive predicts Houston is interested in Texas [Tackle Kelvin] Banks Jr." as the target. The Texans have an extra selection in this year's third round, an extra in the 2026 second, and an extra in the 2026 fourth. They have the ammunition for a trade-up. Atlanta at 15 has just three picks in the top 200. The Texans have done business with Arizona on a trade-up before. If Miami is looking to move back to get better value on a defensive back, then 13 would be interesting. Would you move 89 overall, a second next year, and another late-round pick to move up to 13-16? Seems pricey to me. He also stated teams behind the Texans have heard from Nick Caserio and couched the whole thing with "it's possible the Texans are just doing their due diligence across the board."
