After 16 weeks and 626 hours of intensive training, both officers reached this important milestone surrounded by family, friends, and classmates.

Introducing our newest Community Service Officer (CSO) Ethan Mroczek, to the Kearney Police Department! Ethan worked as our intern during the Spring of 2025 and joined KPD as a CSO on June 16th, 2025.
He joins our CSO team in the Special Services Unit, under the leadership of Sgt. Small and Lt. Kowalek.
