A contract signing ✍️ ceremony for electrifying health and educational facilities in #Northeastern Regional State of Somalia has been officially launched today in the capital #Laascanood .

In 2023 Somalia’s North Western Separatist region of Somaliland committed gross human rights violations in #Laascanood shelling the city’s Hospital, Schools, water and electricity infrastructure for 8 months triggering global condemnation such as UNSC and Human Rights organisations , the shelling of civilians in Laascanood did not stop untill the powerful Allied Harti forces defeated and Somaliland tribal militias retreated to Oog .
Today separatists Somaliland tribal militias are indiscriminately killing civilians in the city of #Borame Awdal province, death toll is 9 and wounded amount to over 100 as per sources from Borame general hospital.
The Somali government has recently been tasked to manage its Human Rights and appointed the National Commission for Human Rights yet none of them have yet highlighted the atrocities that Somaliland tribal militias are carrying out in Borame as the killing continues.

If I were #Firdhiye and @NortheasternWB leadership, I’d strongly consider forming a mutual trilateral security and economic pact with @GMstatehouse and @southweststat in #Laascanood to prevent any attempts at political isolation.

By coordinating their policies, they are intent on isolating Waqooyi Bari, cutting off its access to resources and local support in Sanaag, and reducing its influence from that of a legitimate regional authority to a marginalized, rogue militia.
