🚨 Nuevo estudio publicado en Microbiology Research (MDPI) 🚨
Investigadores del Centro de Referencia Nacional de Genómica, Secuenciación y Bioinformática (CRN-GENSBIO) del INSPI participaron en el análisis de 108 cepas de Klebsiella variicola.
El estudio evaluó la sensibilidad a diferentes antibióticos, destacando la alta efectividad de imipenem, meropenem y amikacina frente a estas cepas. Además, identificaron que aproximadamente el 12 % de las cepas presentan resistencia múltiple debido a la producción de enzimas ESβL.
Este trabajo reafirma la importancia del CRN-GENSBIO del INSPI en la vigilancia genómica y la investigación de bacterias multirresistentes en el país.
