@Hazelgrove_5 @linzhodgson @ptsafetylearn RT: Lest we forget the Labour Gov rejected 'Robbie's Law' [an Individual Legal Duty of Candour for doctors] when recommended by Health Select Committee, in 1999. They didn't give the reasons why they rejected it. They also claimed ECtHR's ruling didn't mean doctors could lie!

@RishiSunak They would bring forward a Statutory Duty of Candour for all public servants to stop abuses of power like the #InfectedBloodScandal #Hillsborough #MidStafs #VictimsOfGospo1 #UHSussex - do you have any such plan to protect the public from the harm caused from a cover-up culture?

@linzhodgson @ptsafetylearn @willcpowell Did I miss Labour taking an opportunity today to commit to #RobbiesLaw #HillsboroughLaw #MidStafs & indeed Sir Brian Longstaff recent call for an individual Statutory Duty of Candour to stop all the cover up culture so many families encounter by organs of the State

@Abstracti73 @nmcnews The #NMC has a long history of failing to protect patients or support bereaved families, be it #MidStafs #Gosport #infectedblood #UHSussex the regulators toxic culture and sketchy investigations fails to protect the public. @ChtyCommission is part of the problem not the solution

@Louisa77591256 @Gel_MrBsLegacy There's been a lot of platitudes heaped on the CEO since her announcement - akin to "insiders" who praised Vennells when she left the POL. Their praise & attitudes reflect scandals like #InfectedBlood #GosportWM #MidStafs will happen again without implementing Sir Brian's advice
