The amount of square feet of housing per person in the U.S. has more than doubled since the early 1970's. I feel like this is a somewhat underappreciated root cause of awful land-use patterns, i.e. the feeling that we 'need' such a wasteful amount of space.

The City chose to not create #MissingSmall housing (except vehicle dwelling), & to prohibit permanent housing from shelter sites.
