Today is #NF2AwarenessDay. I have this disease. I have tumors in both ears & on my brain. While benign they still cause problems. I’m deaf in my left ear. I have equilibrium issues. I need to have the brain tumor removed because it’s causing swelling & inflammation.

NF2 Related Schwannomatosis is a rare genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body, especially the brain and spine.
It can lead to:
Hearing loss
Vision problems
Balance issues
Pain, numbness, and more
On May 22, we raise awareness and take action.
NF2 BioSolutions PhD student and Trustee @GraceGregory_, represented the charity at the Cambridge Rare Disease Conference hosted by @M4RareDiseases. It was a brilliant conference designed to educate junior doctors about rare diseases.
