Thrilled to see the new @WhiteHouse US Government Policy for Oversight of Dual Use Research and Enhanced Pandemic Potential Pathogens.
Many of the recommendations shared by the National Science Advisory Board for Biosecurity (#NSABB) of which I am a member of & Co-Chaired the Working Group to Review and Evaluate Potential Pandemic Pathogen Care and Oversight (P3CO) Policy have been incorporated.
This policy and implementation guidance strengthens oversight of life sciences research with biological agents and toxins and helps keep the nation and the world at large, safer.
