What did people think of the #OptimusBot reveal at @Tesla AI day? Being interested in prosthetics and currently working at a company that also trains their robots with human demonstrations, I think this is phenomenal! The perfect blend of biomimicry and engineering 🤩
Love the hand design. Actuators look cool. It would have been great to see a precision control task and see the opposable thumbs in action. But I'm sure there's a lot coming soon. VIO, path planning & step loco - all impressive - kudos to the engineers.
