UNH/Optum having new problems? ...Ghost faxes that are asking for responses, using both Oputm and UNH letterheads. As we all know today with big corporations it is a piece of code that automates and sends these faxes to the end machines, which means how the the fake fax senders get the patient name requesting specific information? We know how they can find a doctor with a simple NPI number.
This is supposedly occurring nationwide so what has a hold of UNH data now? Was this information that was leaked a couple years ago due to the Change Heathcare breach that was the case of not using Two-step verification (2SV) or two-factor authentication?

@Andie00471 Same thing happened to me. I finally got approved for a preventative migraine med which was a Godsend. This new fiscal year it was no longer covered. Changed medications and had 4 migraines the first week! So now I have to take ANOTHER med on top of the new one. #optumrx #onecare
