Another commercial #PAPRBUGGY.
Really, a bassinet that you can insert into any European stroller. 699 Euro.
A pretty nifty design, @michael_hoerger

If you have a #baby or are #pregnant you may wish to check out this #Thule #stroller with an air purifying cover. If you do, please let us know more https://t.co/IpP1ZMPGqx Not sure if it’s as good as or better than a #PAPRbuggy. @ghhughes @michael_hoerger #pregnancy
@salmontenmi @outbreakupdates PAPRs, Powered Air Purifying Respirators, paired with an enclosed space like a covered stroller.

Here’s my battle gear today w 7 mo old sidekick & motivation to prevent infection(s): med office not requiring masking so baby in Ford PAPR buggy fit tested at 341,000 🤯; Aranet4 readings max 700 👏; Levoit hepa; blowing papr hose at baby when out of stroller (not perfect 😩)
@BarryHunt008 @_Norwegian_Blue @eatonhamilton If I want change, I provide alternatives myself.
I don't want infants infected, so I suggest #PAPRBuggy.
I think Bob is silly - I have directly suggested outside dining to him.
If someone doesn't like my word choice, give me an equally cutting word. If I like it, I'll change.
Fortunately, we know how you can protect your infants and toddlers.

Got a kid? The masking nation has a masking solution no matter the age.
Let's roll this #PAPRBUGGY !
For the baby to the toddler!
(Got a dog used to going in stores? I do, and this is on my list. )
Hospital-ing as safely as we can. Note: #PAPRbuggy w/@3M versaflo, rain cover and Filti material for vents. Also: battery-powered #CRbox. Not pictured: plug-in #HEPA from UVCan, medical grade wipes, and me arguing w/doctors & OT about wearing N95s or better (50% success rate)
@NukitToBeSure @ghhughes @michael_hoerger Amazing!! 👏🏼👏🏼
Looking forward to a reasonable and functional #PAPRbuggy unit now! 😊😊
I still have to rely on the Trudsafe unit attached with 3M filters and O ring for baby’s dr visits, as can’t afford a versaflo yet! ☹️☹️
Thanking @SmartAirFilters for the QT3, and @RealSexyCyborg, @drgregkelly, @michael_hoerger & @FitTestMyPlanet for the #PAPRbuggy design suggestions and improvements!

4/11 I have posted several threads about the #PAPRbuggy. Have a look at my first one. I gently try to lead Mike in the right direction without calling him out https://t.co/Kx1txzYf89
1/🧵The #PAPRbuggy / #pramPAPR
Recently I had the pleasure of testing a friend's PAPR-like device they use to protect baby during medical appointments. I was immediately concerned about the protection that it would offer once I learned it used a cheap PAPR-like unit from amazon.
Playing around with some new PTFE filtration material I got my hands on. Supposed to have some advantages over meltdown particularly in terms of durability. Might be suitable for #PAPRbuggy and home isolation tents. More to do, but so far, interesting🤔
1/21 What am I up to? Just testing 5 PAPRs against each other as is normal. All of these offer a high level of protection except one. Highly relevant to the #PAPRbuggy #pramPAPR #PAPR
@DaliaHasanMD Btw, if you and baby will be getting wheeled out, then you could apply the #PAPRbuggy principle to the wheelchair with a makeshift hood:

@DaliaHasanMD Please see this thread from @michael_hoerger on the originals and best designs of #PAPRbuggy. Essentially you put a blower under a rain hood over your baby’s car seat or stroller to creat positive pressure.
Best of luck with the eviction.
Kids <2 yrs old can’t mask.
Kids <6 months can’t vax.
Many parents are using strollers w/rain covers to try to get some protection during essential activities.
Does adding a #PAPR or #HEPA device help?
I tried 6 models: https://t.co/7LoGHrwMkI

@RealSexyCyborg @michael_hoerger @CriticalAerosol @FitTestMyPlanet @CaliforniaCodes Finally!! 👏🏼👏🏼
Will look out for this on AliExpress for our #PAPRbuggy till baby learns how to mask!
Thanks Naomi, you are awesome! 🥰
Very interesting development, we now have pram covers made entirely out of melt-blown polypropylene (mask material). The huge surface area should make them very breathable, they seal better than rain hoods and would trap less heat and moisture.

At a social media talk I gave today, the biggest concern people had was #trolling.
I block readily and only allow people I follow to direct message me. Troll comments are mostly from bots, so they don't bother me anyway. See themes from the #PAPRbuggy preprint

I would, of course, want to include a significant selection of #BuggyPAPR setups, so that parents of very young children can upgrade their stroller to a #PAPRbuggy...

.@CanPaedSociety - Do you have a position on masking in children’s hospitals when those
< 6 mo can’t vax and
< 2 yr can’t mask to prevent #COVID19?
There's a lot of talk about protecting "the vulnerable" in hospitals. However, there's almost no discussion about #children too young to mask or get vaccinated.
This is where the #PAPRbuggy and #HEPAbuggy could help.

So, today finally took the #PAPRbuggy at GP clinic with baby sitting in. Anemometer measured air flow at 0.1-0.2 m/s and baby was very comfortably sitting in it as well.
