नॅशनल कौन्सिल ऑफ एज्युकेशन रिसर्च अँड ट्रेनिंग (NCERT) ने आठवीच्या इतिहासाच्या पाठ्यपुस्तकातून मराठा साम्राज्याचा गौरवशाली विस्तार दर्शवणारा नकाशा हटवल्याच्या निर्णयाला आता कायदेशीर आव्हान देण्यात आले आहे. या अन्यायकारक निर्णयाविरोधात #श्रीमंत_राजे_मुधोजी_भोसले यांच्या नेतृत्वाखाली मुंबई उच्च न्यायालयात जनहित याचिका (PIL) दाखल करण्यात आली आहे.

मुख्य मुद्दे:
इतिहासाचे विद्रुपीकरण: याचिकेत असे नमूद करण्यात आले आहे की, मराठा साम्राज्याने अठराव्या शतकात भारताच्या मोठ्या भूभागावर अधिपत्य गाजवले होते. मात्र, NCERT ने नवीन बदलांमध्ये हा ऐतिहासिक नकाशा वगळून नवीन पिढीला खऱ्या इतिहासापासून वंचित ठेवण्याचा प्रयत्न केला आहे.
अस्मितेचा प्रश्न: मराठा साम्���ाज्य हे केवळ महाराष्ट्रापुरते मर्यादित नसून ते अटकेपार पसरलेले राष्ट्रव्यापी साम्राज्य होते. असा नकाशा हटवणे हा छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज आणि त्यांच्या वारसांच्या कर्तृत्वाचा, महाराष्ट्रातील व भारतातील आठरापगड जातीचा अपमान असल्याची भावना याचिकेत व्यक्त करण्यात आली आहे.
मागणी: उच्च न्यायालयाने या प्रकरणात हस्तक्षेप करून NCERT ला सुधारित पाठ्यपुस्तकात मराठा साम्राज्याचा नकाशा पुन्हा समाविष्ट करण्याचे आदेश द्यावेत, अशी मुख्य मागणी करण्यात आली आहे.
"आपल्या पूर्वजांनी रक्ताचे पाणी करून हे स्वराज्य आणि साम्राज्य उभे केले. जगाला हेवा वाटेल असा आपला इतिहास आहे. हा इतिहास पुसण्याचा किंवा तो कमी लेखण्याचा प्रयत्न होत असेल, तर आम्ही गप्प बसणार नाही. भावी पिढीला शुद्ध आणि सत्य इतिहास मिळावा, यासाठीच आम्ही हा न्यायालयीन लढा पुकारला आहे."

या याचिकेवर लवकरच मुंबई उच्च न्यायालयात सुनावणी होण्याची शक्यता आहे. या लढ्याला शिव-शंभू प्रेमी आणि इतिहासकारांकडून मोठा पाठिंबा मिळत आहे.
आशे विविध मुद्याच्या आधारवर 266 पानाची जनहित याचिका (PIL) मुंबई उच्च न्यायालयात दाखल करण्यात आली आहे.

Congratulating the five officers on getting the medals, Sri Anjani Kumar asked them to continue their good work in the department and also compile this successfully prosecuted cases as case studies for SIs / PCs training
The “Union Home Minister’s Medal for Excellence in Investigation” is awarded to the five officers for their outstanding contribution and achievements in investigating the cases. The award is meant to recognize and encourage exceptional investigative skills and dedication in solving complex cases.

#CENTRAL_EQUIPMENT_IDENTITY_REGISTER (CEIR) PORTAL::
Telangana Police has traced, unblocked and handed over more than One thousand (1,000) Lost/missing mobile devices to rightful owners in a short span of one month.

The CEIR Portal which is aimed to curb mobile theft and counterfeit mobiles started functioning in Telangana from 19.4.2023.
On 13.4.2023, Sri Anjani Kumar, IPS, DGP, Telangana inaugurated the one day Hands on training session for the 60 Master trainers and distributed the CEIR user IDs to all the 780 police stations under the 31 Police Units on 18.4.2023.
Sri Mahesh M. Bhagwat, IPS, Addl. DGP, CID CID is designated as Nodal Officer for CEIR portal in the state of Telangana. The CEIR Portal was developed by the Department of Tele-Communications (DoT). The Telangana state was selected for Pilot project of the portal and started on 19.4.2023. The National wide CEIR portal was officially launched on 17.5.2023.
ADGP, CID as “Super User” effectively monitoring the day to day progress of the CEIR resulting in tracing and handing over of more than 1,000 lost/missing mobiles to their rightful owners in a short span of one month i.e., from 20-04-2023 to 22-05-2023 of its launch.
The following is the consolidated data (20-04-2023 to 22-05-2023) of the CEIR portal of the state of Telangana.
No. of Mobile Devices blocked :16011
No. of traceability Reports received with percentage : 4226 (26.39% )
No. of Devices unblocked and handed over to rightful owners with percentage : 1016 (24.05%)
All the Police Units have contributed in tracing lost/stolen mobile phones. However considerable contributions have come from Cyberabad Commissionarate with 149 mobile devices, Warangal Commissionarate with 91 mobile devices and Kamareddy District with 79 mobile devices.
In view of the above notable achievement by Telangana Police in coordination with DoT, to serve the citizens of Telangana more user friendly, an integration of CEIR application with CCTNS citizen Portal has been completed and it is appealed to the citizens of Telangana to utilize this service on Citizen Portal without visiting to Mee Seva/ Police Station for lost/missing of Mobile Devices.

The NBW execution team of @CIDTelangana apprehended two Interstate accused wanted since 29 years involved in Dacoity, House Burglaries property offences.
As per instructions of Sri Mahesh M. Bhagwat, IPS, Addl. DGP, CID, Telangana Special Teams for execution of NBWs formed under the supervision of Sri B Ram Reddy, S.P, CMS, CID, TS, Hyderabad. On 18-05-2023 Special Team of CID traced and has apprehended (02) Nos. of Inter-State absconding accused from Chigurumanapeta, Dhone PS Limits, Nandyal Dist., Andra Pradesh. The accused persons were wanted for the last (29) years.
1) The accused Kavadi Ravi @ Eakala Pedda Ravi, s/o Yellaiah in i) Cr No. 131/1990 (CC No.413/1997), U/s 457, 380 IPC of Chegunta PS and ii) https://t.co/4hCth6jzf1.370/1990, U/s 395 IPC of R.C.Puram later transferred to CID RO Sangareddy. The accused is absconding since 29 years and NBWs is pending at Addl.JFCM Court at Sangareddy.
2) The accused Mekala Katamaiah @ Menavadi Katamaiah, s/o Hanumanthu in Cr No. 370/1990 (PRC No.11/2010), U/s 395 IPC of R.C.Puram PS, later transferred to CID RO Sangareddy. The accused is absconding since 29 years and NBW is pending at Addl.JFCM Court at Sangareddy.
Team of 1) Sri G. Murali Kumar, Inspector of Police, 2) Sri K. Sathish Kumar, SI of Police, 3) Sri Md. Mujeeb Ur Rahman, ASI, 4) Sri J.Ratnaji Rao, ASI and 5) Sri D. Narsaiah, HC 536 of CID PS Hyderabad was visited the Kolar District of Karnataka after truthful information team moved to Nandyal Dist of Andra Pradesh with the hard work and efforts traced and apprehended the absconding accused from Chigurumanapeta, Dhone PS Limits, Nandyal Dist., Andra Pradesh.
The Addl.DGP, CID Shri Mahesh M. Bhagwat, IPS has appreciated the Special Team and they will be suitably rewarded.
