The DESTINY-CRC02 trial
Multicenter, phase 2 study evaluating the efficacy and safety of two doses of trastuzumab deruxtecan (5.4 mg/kg and 6.4 mg/kg) in patients with pretreated HER2-positive metastatic #ColorectalCancer , including those with RAS🧬mutations.
The trial involved 122 patients across 53 hospitals globally, with participants receiving either dose every 21 days. The primary endpoint was the confirmed objective response rate, which was higher in the 5.4 mg/kg group (37.8%) compared to the 6.4 mg/kg group (27.5%). The 5.4 mg/kg dose demonstrated a more favorable safety profile, with fewer severe adverse events.
➡️The findings suggest that trastuzumab deruxtecan at 5.4 mg/kg is the optimal dose for this patient population, offering a promising treatment option with manageable safety concerns.
