A goal of the #Tech-industry is to develop a 'univeral' memory-#technology that combines the virtues of RAM and Flash-memory in ONE memory-type.
#Flash-memory is still too slow to serve as RAM—let alone Cache—while #DRAM is too volatile (and expensive) to serve as mass-storage.
