An exciting #posthoc analysis for patients received 4% albumin (n = 693) or Ringers acetate (n = 693) for #cardiopulmonarybypass #priming and #volumereplacement intraoperatively and postoperatively for the first 24 hours.
It demonstrated that #albumin had a potency to reduce CK-MBm in 41% in the whole cohort (β-value ratio of -0.156/0.376), whereas #Ringer reduced it by only 19% in the Ringer group (β-value ratio of -0.07/0.363).
