Some people have taunted me that I am looking for TRP. Sorry, I am part of a group that could get #PowaiLake rejuvenation started without public noise. It was hanging fire since 2004, no BJP Or SS MP or MLA could do anything. I have tried to get GCC & hyper commercialisation issue without public noise but nothing is happening. Hence gone public. I have not monetised my account 😊

We requested most credible & respected Traffic expert ex-DGP Maharashtra Dr P S Pasricha to have a look at traffic around Powai. He visited Powai and gave us a detailed report of 7 pages later that was delivered to CM @Dev_Fadnavis ji on 17th October 2026. We shared the report with @CMOMaharashtra team too. There has been no response from anyone. Nor has Dr Pasricha been contacted to discuss the report, a renowned expert? If this is how our govt. treats serious issues of a disaster in waiting, where is the hope for citizens? Builders have been given virtually unlimited time for construction - from 6 am to 10 pm even in residential areas. We can keep complaining. No action by @mybmc. I regret to say, we are losing hope. Govt wants us to spend our time and money on costly court proceedings to frustrate us?

Many people get tired of following the powers that be. Example below is an inspiration to all the civic activists. #PowaiLake issue cropped up in 2004. Crores were lost. Nothing happened. But @powaiactionform that includes me & #PLRF Powai Lake Rejuvenation Foundation of IIT Alumni kept meeting @mybmc. Finally, a wonderful officer AMC Bangar ji took over and things changed dramatically. Today, we are positive that Powai Lake will be saved. 😊

#Mumbai #Powai #PowaiLake #BikeFire #MotorcycleFire

🎥 | A nearly 7-foot crocodile from #PowaiLake was spotted near a residential area in Mumbai's Powai before being safely rescued on Tuesday morning. The reptile was seen near Morarji Nagar and the NITIE area, following which the BMC responded after a video of the sighting surfaced online. #Mumbai #rescueoperation #monsoon #TheStatesman

People gathering at Powai Lake to watch the Crocodile.🐊🤦 Heavy rains and gusty winds are blowing but people are so brainless. Simply going to risk their lives and keep the BMC workers busy as if their lives are meaningless. #PowaiLake #Crocodile #Powai #Mumbai #Rains

#PowaiLake used to overflow after nearly half the monsoon was over. Later Atleast a month. This time it overflows within 3 days of rains after 20 days delay in monsoon. We should be worried. When we argued with @mybmc about heavy silting we were told it is very costly! Saving environment is costly, degrading it is not. 🥲
