Is there anyone out to look into the plight of the hapless people of Powai-Chandivali. Or are we living in the era of construct and gloom. Gloom of course for the residents, while unbridled construction roars on!!!

We requested most credible & respected Traffic expert ex-DGP Maharashtra Dr P S Pasricha to have a look at traffic around Powai. He visited Powai and gave us a detailed report of 7 pages later that was delivered to CM @Dev_Fadnavis ji on 17th October 2026. We shared the report with @CMOMaharashtra team too. There has been no response from anyone. Nor has Dr Pasricha been contacted to discuss the report, a renowned expert? If this is how our govt. treats serious issues of a disaster in waiting, where is the hope for citizens? Builders have been given virtually unlimited time for construction - from 6 am to 10 pm even in residential areas. We can keep complaining. No action by @mybmc. I regret to say, we are losing hope. Govt wants us to spend our time and money on costly court proceedings to frustrate us?

Water, power, traffic & environmental impact must be addressed BEFORE mega-projects are approved.

Build the infra first, then the project.

It's rich of @mybmc to curtail water consumption but open the taps for high consumption #DataCentres in Mumbai & Thane. We are all for water conservation but how does BMC working under #Maharashtra govt justify Datacentres then? Development at the cost of a water starved city getting water from 100-120 km!

How to tire out citizens of Mumbai. I complained about this bridge many months back to @mybmc. Nothing. Then I went through MC @AshwiniBhide ji. @mybmcWardS woke up. But they informed me it is handed iver @MMRDAOfficial. So I followed up with them. Some contacts sent to me. That gentleman told handover is not over yet. But I will try. Nothing happened. Reminders 🤐
Finally called today, another number sent. So it's responsibility if citizens, not of authorities to give us usable roads & bridges. Were it South Mumbai they would've lined up on second day to solve the problem. 😏

Is it a good idea to host energy & water guzzling business in a water starved region? Can honored minister Shri @ShelarAshish share any #DataCentre project sanctioned anywhere in MMR that works on recycled water or that recycles water for daily usage? 🙏

Latest on #JVLR Powai Foot ovberbidge. I messaged the MMRDA engineer re repairs. Typical babu reply -
"Sir
I am looking only metro works not JVLR FOBs
However
I will discuss with you and will try to resolve this issue.
I will call you plz".
This is fourth of fifth redirection @MPLodha ji @CMOMaharashtra
In the meanwhile people can rusk their lives as govt build more commercial complexes - Datacentres & GCCs.☹️

If there isn’t enough drinking water for the city, how come data centres are being allowed to proliferate which require huge amounts of fresh water.
And what about construction sites, will there be a reduction in construction activity which again is a water guzzler?

Will GIS mapping search for lost Footpaths? Central Avenue in Hiranandani gardens Powai footpath for 30 yearswas gobbled up by @Brookfield as it was a private property as per @mybmc layout. But no alternative has been created by @mybmcWardS despite regular followups. 🙂

Met up with DCP Traffic East Pradeep Chavan, ACP Traffic East Vijaysinh Bagal and Sen. PI Rajni Salunkhe at the Vikhroli Traffic Office.

The meeting focused on traffic & mobility concerns related to the upcoming GCC project at Powai.

Dear @mybmcSWM @mybmcWardS, a broken sewerage drain is located just outside S.M. Shetty School Gate Number 3. Despite residents raising complaints on Marg and X, no one has cared to fix the sewerage line. It's a hygiene issue. @AshwiniBhide @mybmc
