While addressing the virtual #RP4thGraduation .@Dr_Uwamariya said that TVET is increasingly being seen as the backbone of Rwanda's socio-economic development and it is the key to job creation, poverty eradication, social cohesion, and pathway to rapid industrial development.
"To all 722 girls who graduated in different programmes, You are very few but very brave. I hope you take on the challenge and encourage many other girls to join STEM and TVET in particular. " said MOS in Charge of ICT and TVET @ClaudetteIrere during #RP4thGraduation.
In her remarks during #RP4thGraduation .@ClaudetteIrere said that graduating during this pandemic is certainly an achievement and she truly hopes that graduates are ready to go out in the world and face all challenges with the firm resolve to create resilient jobs & businesses.
The #RP4thGraduation was also graced by the Minister of State in Charge of ICT and TVET Hon. @ClaudetteIrere, and other @RwandaPolytec and affiliated colleges representatives as this year's ceremony took place virtually due to the global pandemic COVID-19.
