I wish I could shout out all the writers I read in my script swap, but I fear @ScriptPipeline would hate me for crowding their tweet SO writers I didn’t shout out this time I will do next time if/when Pipeline does this again!

@ScriptPipeline SUPLEX by @andycompton_ was brilliantly written and full of heart. A coming of age story for the ages. Andy is definitely a writer to watch!

I would have to say most recently
@kevryanperson FELLING IN LOVE, worth reading for the satire, the subtext and how clever and well written it is. I love how Kevin is able to take the most ordinary things and find the absurdity in it.
@ScriptPipeline I think about @TheJosieMarie’s feature ‘Swimming in Cuba’ constantly. The script is a beautiful blend of turbulent family dynamics, a resilient and headstrong female protagonist with a strong goal, and an added sprinkle of magical realism.

@ScriptPipeline @paul_s_casey - Legato. Lots of people have told me how good this script is. I've never read such a beautifully constructed teaser and first few pages. As musical and smooth as the title, and it doesn't lose any of that pace throughout. Stellar.

@ScriptPipeline It's honestly been a while since I picked up a script instead of a book. But I did read @kevryanperson's 5 Orcs and I enjoyed it. Who wouldn't enjoy reading something where the stereotypical bad guys are the heroes? Funny, too.

I 💛'd this script so much, I read it twice. Intensely emotional, grounded yet fantastic, & so tenderly written. A man learns to feel again in wartime Wales with the help of a creature he least expected to meet.
