मुंबई के विले पार्ले (पूर्व) स्थित नेहरू रोड पर बसे एक 30 साल पुराना पार्श्वनाथ दिगंबर जैन मंदिर को अचानक और बर्बर तरीके से तोड़ दिया गया। यह सिर्फ एक इमारत नहीं थी—यह जैन समाज की आस्था, परंपरा और पहचान का प्रतीक थी।
इतना ही नहीं, इस पवित्र स्थल पर स्थापित जैन तीर्थंकरों की मूर्तियों, जिनवाणी, और अन्य पूजनीय ग्रंथों व शास्त्रों का भी घोर अपमान किया गया। इस विध्वंस की खबर ने मन को व्यथित और क्षुब्ध कर दिया है। यह अत्यंत गंभीर और निंदनीय है।कांग्रेस परिवार इस दुख और आक्रोश की घड़ी में जैन समुदाय के साथ पूरी मज़बूती से खड़ा है।
एक बड़ा सवाल यह भी है—क्या बीएमसी ने यह कार्रवाई किसी होटल मालिक के दबाव में की?
आज हमने इस पवित्र स्थल का दौरा किया और मंदिर की मैनेजिंग कमिटी स��ित जैन समाज के व्यथित साथियों से मुलाकात की। मंदिर कमिटी के अनुसार, एक होटल मालिक इसी स्थान पर बार खोलना चाहता है, और उसी मकसद से यह बुलडोज़र चलवाया गया।
फडणवीस सरकार निजी हितों को धार्मिक स्थलों और अल्पसंख्यक समुदायों के अधिकारों से ऊपर क्यों रख रही है?
भाजपा शासन में यह कोई पहली घटना नहीं है—कभी मजार, कभी चर्च, कभी मस्जिद… और अब जैन मंदिर तक को नहीं बख्शा जा रहा। अगर यह सिलसिला अब नहीं रुका, तो आने वाली पीढ़ियों की धार्मिक स्वतंत्रता भी खतरे में पड़ जाएगी।
हम सरकार से मांग करते हैं कि:
👉 इस पूर��� घटना की न्यायिक जांच कराई जाए।
👉 जैन समाज को विश्वास में लेकर मंदिर का पुनर्निर्माण कराया जाए।
👉 और सबसे ज़रूरी—इस तानाशाही कार्रवाई के लिए ज़िम्मेदार अधिकारियों को तत्काल निलंबित किया जाए और उनपर सख्त से सख्त कार्रवाई हो।
यह सिर्फ जैन समुदाय पर हमला नहीं है—यह हमारे संविधान की ध��्मनिरपेक्ष आत्मा पर हमला है। और हम इसे हरगिज़ बर्दाश्त नहीं करेंगे।
