NASA just shared an absolutely insane view of the Grand Canyon — captured from space 🤯🌍 From orbit, the canyon cuts across the Earth like a massive scar, stretching endlessly through the rugged desert. Its sheer scale is almost impossible to grasp — 277 miles long, up to 18 miles wide, and over a mile deep — yet even from space, it still looks enormous ⛰️🔥 The deep red and burnt-orange layers of rock glow under sunlight, revealing millions of years of geological history carved into every ridge and valley. Sharp shadows sink into the canyon’s depths, adding dramatic contrast and making the landscape feel even more powerful and alive 🌄 And then it hits you — something this massive still looks small from orbit… which puts into perspective just how tiny we really are 🌍🤏

Jupiter looks like a living watercolor from space 🎨🪐 But those beautiful swirls are actually massive storm systems made of ammonia and water clouds racing across the planet at incredible speeds. Beneath that stunning surface, powerful hidden superstorms and lightning far stronger than Earth’s are constantly raging. What looks soft and peaceful is actually one of the most violent atmospheres in the solar system.

NASA posted an ARTEMIS II crew photograph that I think is one of the best I have seen. This is the continent of Antarctica. The area around the continent is clear. This is the Southern Ocean that circles Antarctica. The cold air and water tend to rob the moisture in the air. No clouds. In the middle left of the photo is the Antarctica Peninsula. To the left of the peninsula is Tierra del Fuego. Continuing up the upper left of the photo is the Atlantic coast of South America. The land mass in the lower right is probably New Zealand.
