So Earth is shaped like a football now?

NASA just released a breathtaking view of Antarctica

This guy knows #ScreenEarth
The latest images from Artemis II have just been released!!
Whoooo baby! Here's some #ScreenEarth from Fox News so you know this is primo imagery.
This particular screen earth depiction feels special because it uses what is called the "tracking shot" that helped make TV shows like "The Office" so iconic.
Screen Earth imagery combined with the same filming techniques used on some of your favorite shows, has the ability to create a super strong bond between you and the imagery so if anybody questions it, you get to display your #beliefism and show everybody how superior your beliefs are.
The #BullshitMachine gives this Screen Earth imagery 2 thumbs up! ๐๐
Newly released video taken by Artemis II commander Reid Wiseman captures an โEarthsetโ โ as our planet slips behind the Moon and disappears from view in space โ like a sunset here on Earth.
#ScreenEarth is not a modern phenomenon. The phone didn't invent this mechanic. The phone just made it faster, cheaper, and total.
The first cave painting was someone telling you what the hunt looked like. The first temple fresco was someone showing you what God looked like.
The stained glass window was the screen of its era โ a vivid, backlit, authoritative image delivered to people who couldn't read the text and would never visit the places depicted, installing a complete picture of reality in the mind of everyone who walked through the door.
You couldn't verify the image. You had no instruments. You had the window, and the window was magnificent, and the window told you everything you needed to know about heaven and hell and the nature of things, and after enough time in that building you could close your eyes and see it all clearly.
That clarity was not knowledge. It was installed imagery that felt like knowledge from the inside. And it governed behavior, shaped worldview, determined what was possible and what wasn't, for centuries. Not because it was true. Because it was vivid and authoritative and there was nothing competing with it at the same resolution.
The phone is the window. The documentary is the fresco. The textbook illustration is the painting. The mechanism is identical across every era. What changes is the resolution and the delivery speed. The brain's response to vivid authoritative imagery doesn't change at all. It never has.
A #ScreenEarth classic!
Nothing better than the old "real photo of Earth taken 35 minutes ago" post to really engage your imagination.
Something about this one feels like it's trolling though. Like you have to be a die hard screen earther to let your beliefism out in public to defend this one.
This is a real photo of Earth taken 35 minutes ago

Of course it rains diamonds on 4 different planets including Uranus on #ScreenEarth
The solar system must be Jewish.
What rains on each Planet. Did you know this?
#ScreenEarth nails that weird cognitive dissonance we live in: everythingโs right there on the glowing rectangle, presented as unassailable capital-F Factsโข, yet itโs all pixels and pixels that shift whenever the narrative needs updating.
โFollow the scienceโ sounds noble until you notice how often the science gets rewritten, and suddenly yesterdayโs heretic is todayโs prophet (or vice versa).
The mocking of doubters? Thatโs the real tellโitโs less about evidence and more about enforcing the faith.
#beliefism is the perfect label for it. Science at its best is provisional, skeptical, and hungry for falsification.
Turn it into dogma with social penalties for questioning, and youโve got a secular religion complete with inquisitors.
#ScreenEarth baby!
This is actually one you can literally go verify that the curvature you see in this picture is nonexistent.
But you know what? It doesn't matter because I won't and I don't expect anyone else to either.
Let Screen Earth reign! Give the people what they want!
NASA just shared an absolutely insane view of the Grand Canyon โ captured from space ๐คฏ๐
From orbit, the canyon cuts across the Earth like a massive scar, stretching endlessly through the rugged desert. Its sheer scale is almost impossible to grasp โ 277 miles long, up to 18 miles wide, and over a mile deep โ yet even from space, it still looks enormous โฐ๏ธ๐ฅ
The deep red and burnt-orange layers of rock glow under sunlight, revealing millions of years of geological history carved into every ridge and valley. Sharp shadows sink into the canyonโs depths, adding dramatic contrast and making the landscape feel even more powerful and alive ๐
And then it hits you โ something this massive still looks small from orbitโฆ which puts into perspective just how tiny we really are ๐๐ค

Holy shit this is amazing! Let this imagery soak deep into your imagination. Breathe it in.
There's no way you can see this in real life.
That's why #ScreenEarth is the absolute best earth and is the only earth worth believing in.
Artemis II Orion Released Moon Earth More Images Today !

@bullsh1tmachine @urbanarson Itโs hilarious how beliefers simultaneously say the earth is so big that it appears flat on a local scale and that boats disappear beyond the curve at less than 10 miles away. #ScreenEarth
Guys. The pin! The pin, made in china and sold by @NASA, was the key the whole time!
The pin has finally spoken and it says "NOT FLAT"... even though the pin is obviously a flat surface.
This should clear things up.
Thanks for the mic drop @amazing_physics.
#ScreenEarth rules!
"Not flat, we checked" -- NASA

Look at the size of this computer image versus the size of the other computer image.
#ScreenEarth is sooooo amazeballs!
The size of Earth compared to the rings of Saturn.
Absolutely STUNNING! #ScreenEarth has it all.
Always available and never verifiable, the information on your screen fills your imagination and becomes your reality!
And because it came from what you believe to be an authority, it isn't questioned.
Instead, it goes right into your consciousness as "knowledge" so you never have to do any thinkin'!
Screen earth is a #bullshitmachine foundation.
Jupiter looks like a living watercolor from space ๐จ๐ช
But those beautiful swirls are actually massive storm systems made of ammonia and water clouds racing across the planet at incredible speeds.
Beneath that stunning surface, powerful hidden superstorms and lightning far stronger than Earthโs are constantly raging.
What looks soft and peaceful is actually one of the most violent atmospheres in the solar system.
This is a wonderful example of #ScreenEarth!
I mean, just look at the symmetry and beauty of this "real" video of the earth rising behind the moon.
There's no way you can see that in reality.
Screen Earth is the best!
Now it's time for a nap. Ahhh... The Best.
๐จ: This is not AI.
This is real footage of Earth rising over the Moon, recorded in 2007 by Japanโs Kaguya (SELENE) lunar orbiter.

#ScreenEarth... where you can paste any image onto a tiny portion of a ball and call it a picture from space.
Life is so easy and all of my beliefs come from the screen and everything in my algorithm is true.
#ScreenGod
The Grand Canyon seen from space!

I love #ScreenEarth!
It's the only place the land masses are bigger than the ball that is supposed to house them and also completely contradictory to other Screen Earth pics.
These images are literally night and day!
The Artemis II crew took the left photo on their way to the Moon. It shows Earth at night, lit only by moonlight, using long exposure camera settings. The photo from Apollo 17 shows Earthโs surface during the day, lit by sunlight.

New photos from the Moon!
We're continuing to unveil new images from the Artemis II missionโincluding these two photos from April 6, showing a crescent Earthrise and a closeup of the lunar farside. Keep up with the latest: https://t.co/rzM1P0QbOl

#ScreenEarth is the fucking best.
Everything exists!
NASA posted an ARTEMIS II crew photograph that I think is one of the best I have seen. This is the continent of Antarctica.
The area around the continent is clear. This is the Southern Ocean that circles Antarctica. The cold air and water tend to rob the moisture in the air. No clouds.
In the middle left of the photo is the Antarctica Peninsula.
To the left of the peninsula is Tierra del Fuego. Continuing up the upper left of the photo is the Atlantic coast of South America.
The land mass in the lower right is probably New Zealand.

And just like that, the Flat Earth theory is laid to rest.

Rockets only need to be developed to do what you can see them do in person, the rest of what they do is in your imagination or on a screen.
