Estas imágenes provienen de los primeros espectros de radiación terrestre medidos por Sentinel-4, a bordo del satélite MTG-S1 de @EUMETSAT.
First glimpses from space!
The new @CopernicusEU Sentinel-4 mission has delivered its first preliminary images during commissioning:
1) NO₂: Pollution hotspots over Italy’s Po Valley
2) SO₂: Volcanic plume from Mount Etna
3) O₃: Ozone levels within expected range
4) Europe and part of North Africa, is based on the first Earth radiance spectra measured by Sentinel-4. Processed in false colour, measurements have been assigned to red, green and blue, and show the land, ocean and clouds as expected.
Sentinel-4’s spectrometer is hosted on @EUMETSAT’s MTG-S1 satellite.
