📢 #ShortHER 10-year survival data and TILs! First study showing prognostic role of TILs on OS in HER2+ early BC. Patients with TILs≥20% did not show any additional risk with shorter trastuzumab duration. #bcsm @OncoAlert @vitti10 @UniPadova https://t.co/Y15rXY5Gfk

Interesting sub-analysis of the #ShortHER trial by @vitti10 et al published on @JAMAOnc. Baseline TILs significantly impact prognosis in HER2+ eBC, and patients with more immunogenic tumors seem to have similar outcomes with less intensive adj regimens. https://t.co/oT0OcKAXJg

De-escalation of Trastuzumab seems a great option for low risk HER2 positive BC patients according to the final analysis of #ShortHER trial presented in #ESMOBreast21 by Prof. Conte @curijoey

Long term outcomes of #ShortHER- 9 wks vs. 1 yr adj trastuzumab 8 yr f/u: 📍no diff in DFS (HR 1.09), 80% DFS long vs. 78.3% short arm ❤️ long course ⬆️ cardiac events 💡 no diff for low/int risk categories but BENEFIT for long H in high risk #ESMOBreast21 @OncoAlert
