Throughout this week, PEARL attended meetings with several policymakers on Capitol Hill alongside @AdayaalamCPR. We had fruitful conversations on key Tamil issues, including the continued #militarization and #Sinhalization of the North-East, the importance of international accountability in the face of Sri Lanka’s continued empty rhetoric on #reconciliation without accountability & justice, and the need for #SriLanka to meaningfully address longstanding Tamil grievances including a sustainable political solution for Tamils.
