Just heard on RJR News that Mr Stanley Douglas, who'd been HELD IN PRISON FOR 43 YEARS WITHOUT TRIAL, was ordered released by Justice Leighton Pusey today. Mr Douglas had been deemed unfit to plead& held at the Governor General's pleasure. He is almost 80. #Jamaica #stateinjustice

@yooneedmorejodi So incomplete records of these ppl imprisoned without trial for decades at Governor General's Pleasure is an obstacle to reviewing their cases& having them released. So what is the state doing abt this? It cannot be business as usual! @yooneedmorejodi 3/? #Jamaica #stateinjustice

For many of these people imprisoned without trial for decades at the Governor General's Pleasure, files are missing, documents destroyed in hurricanes/fires, papers lost when people transferred from on prison to another. @yooneedmorejodi 2/? #Jamaica #stateinjustice
