Rather than guessing what carriers will do. Look at history. Our state had 17 carriers. Lg provider ntwk. Low competitive rates. NO subsidies needed. 1200 in state high risk pool who applied w expensive conditions. HRP rates no more than all policies today. #StateInnovation
@bghsa My point. With no mandate to protect those with pre-existing conditions, insurance companies will make their own assessments as to accept the risk or charge as much as they can to offset. Guess which they will choose.
