@MartinSalgado48 OWGR is not perfect but it is the most accurate ranking system compared to #DataGolf & #TUGR. The growls grew loud after the defection of certain PGAT players to LIV Golf where they receive no points, but that fault squarely lies with LIV and is not an issue of a broken system.
How is Gooch ahead of Koepka on #TUGR for the past 18 months? Koepka has 4 LIV & PGA Champ๐to Gooch's 3 LIV ๐with 2 titles in 2024 to zero for Gooch. In 2024 they've gone head-to-head 13 times including the PGA Champ with Koepka ahead 7 to 5 & 1 tie. ๐ง๐ค

There are 11 top-50 players on LIV. 7 of them are captains, specifically recruited and given teams who continue to perform.
3 of the 4 players who made it through their Q-school last year will likely be relegated or dropped out of the league.
We also wonder how many in the โOpen Zoneโ wonโt be renewed.
It could be an offseason with a lot of turnover. It will be interesting to see how many new signees come on board and if their Q-school will yield any bigger names that can hold their place.
If LIV can figure out how to go from 11 to 15 of the top-50, that would be a huge win for them. If they can figure out how to go from 20 to 25 of the top-100, then theyโll show a multi-year trend of slowing digging into and maintaining the talent pool.
The case study of what LIV is doing continues to be fascinating to watch in real time as they take a multi year build approach. Will it work? Time will tell. Is it working? We suppose thatโs up for debate.
