Last weekโs Talk on Tuesday. Our talk tactic was โclarifyโ which involved asking questions to make things clearer and check our understanding. Some really interesting discussions happening with everyone listening to and respecting the views of others. @voice21oracy #talkonTuesday

For this weekโs #TalkonTuesday Pine class focused on the probe talk tactic for our class discussion. We eventually came to a majority of children who thought that the rubber was the odd one out! @voice21oracy ๐ฃ
Silver Birch thoroughly enjoyed our #talkontuesday debate today. We focused on our talk tactics of summarise, challenge and build. We practised signalling we wanted to speak by putting our thumbs in the circle to show we wanted to offer our point of view.

#TalkonTuesday @voice21oracy A very sensible and mature debate took place today. Willow Class concluded that, although they like the idea of choosing whatever they want to eat, they know this wouldnโt be sensible. They think it would mean they would choose unhealthily options๐ณ๐
