@elonmusk @Teslarati @ResidentSponge And Tesla sales in the US *continued to grow even after* the $7,500 US EV tax credit was cut in half, then cut in half again, then disappeared completely at the end of 2019. A testament to the #TeslaStretch . People are happy to pay more for a better overall value/experience.

I knew from the moment I took ownership of my model 3 that Tesla had won, and gas cars were toast. They had a real winner on their hands. People were willing to pay the most they’ve ever spent on a car to get one #TeslaStretch $TSLA

@moonares The chart does not show *total sales*. It shows only *luxury vehicle sales*. The #TeslaStretch grows the luxury market by shifting sales that would otherwise have occurred in the non-luxury segment into the luxury segment. ~90% of Tesla buyers have never spent more on a car.

Is the U.S. luxury vehicle market expanding, contracting, or stagnant? 🤔 📈 Thanks to Tesla, it's expanding 📉 Without Tesla, it would be stagnant/contracting Source: https://t.co/sH48uoCzwi , except Tesla 2020-2021 per @TroyTeslike #TeslaStretch $TSLA @elonmusk

@masteve I paid about five times more for my Tesla than I ever paid for any previous vehicle I’ve owned. Lots of regular people do the math, figure out that the Tesla is the only economically sensible thing to purchase, and then do the #TeslaStretch.

Has the #TeslaStretch now turned from buying the cars to buying the stonk? Is Peer Pressure what's fueling some of the retail buying? $TSLA

For all those FSD videos coming out, remember us Autopilot Peasants still have amazing updates. This is for all those who can’t drop 8-10k on a software update: what we have is still awesome! @tesla @elonmusk #autopilot #peasants #teslastretch #model3 #coloradomonument

@AusTeslaOwners @TeslaGong @_TeslaTom @elonmusk @Tesla @PhantomLaneFour @TeslaStraya @DrSallyL @BridieEV exactly, thats one reason we chose Tesla over others, and made the #TeslaStretch from our original plan of buying a #Hyundai #kona #EV.
