Here is an example of how pec minor looks on ultrasound. Link below is how I approach for a submuscular implant via axillary incision. For regular implant, can go to medial aspect of pec minor, or further medial where only pec major has to be traversed.
Nice example of venous anatomy showing how the borders of pectoralis minor, which are easily identified on ultrasound, can serve as landmarks for selecting #UltrasoundAxillaryFirst target

This is another advantage for #UltrasoundAxillaryFirst since after getting the 1st wire, a quick tap on fluoro tells you if it’s an LSVC. Then, you can just pull wire & hold pressure w/ no pocket ever created. #EPeeps
