#UntilValhalla heads to Randwick (R8) today, having had just over a month between runs. She was good over this track and distance last start, overcoming a slow start and finding little luck in the straight to finish off strongly. With a cleaner getaway today, she should be able to settle much closer to the speed, and if she does, she looks well placed to be right in the finish once again. A massive day ahead for the team! 👇 #UntilValhalla gets us underway at Royal Randwick (R4) after a brave effort over this track and trip last start. She draws well, gets in nicely with the claim and drops in grade, so we're expecting another strong showing. #ElsieMay heads to Flemington (R5) off the back of an excellent run last start. We've elected to drop back to 1400m today against her own sex in a smaller field. She gets suitable conditions, has drawn well and, provided the trip isn't a touch sharp for her, we expect her to be right in the finish. #Windstorm lines up at Flemington (R6) after another honest performance last start. He does have to contend with a big weight and the inside draw may not be ideal, but with Jamie Mott aboard, hopefully he can find clear running at the right time. If he gets the breaks, he should be there when it matters. #Katsu rounds out the day at Flemington (R9), stepping up to 1200m for the first time in his career. He's been settling much better in both his work and races, giving us confidence to test him over the extra distance. Hopefully he can see it out strongly and open up even more options moving forward. Killed in Kandahar, Afghanistan after insurgents attacked his unit with an IED. #UntilValhalla This was the last time I saw Donald 🇺🇸 Loosing you in Afghanistan was loosing a piece of home. It still messes with me knowing we were both deployed to Afghanistan at the same time and operating in the same areas. Out of all the people from home, I ended up being one of the last people to laugh with you, talk shit with you, and hug you goodbye. I remember being excited because your ODA team was supposed to come through my area. Then I got the call. I will never forget Jakes voice shaking while he told me your mom had called and that you were gone. I was praying it wasn’t you, then I heard you stepped on an IED. Loosing you in Afghanistan was loosing a piece of home. It still messes with me knowing we were both deployed to Afghanistan at the same time and operating in the same areas. I remember being excited because your ODA team was supposed to come through my area. Then I got the call.

4 runners across 4 tracks and 3 states today! 👇 #UntilValhalla kicks us off at Caulfield (R2), stepping back in grade after contesting two Group races in her last two starts. She draws well, gets in nicely with the claim, and if she can produce anywhere near her best she looks a great chance at some nice each-way odds. #OlMateCoop makes the trip to Moruya (R2) looking to knock his maiden off today. He has been racing in great form without quite getting the win, finds a very suitable race here, and he is very short odds to break through in this small field. #Sunsets lines up in the Kerang Cup (R6) looking to get some confidence back. A fantastic win from #UntilValhalla in the last at Caulfield, bouncing back to form in style 💪 While her first two runs of the campaign didn't look great on paper, we were more than happy with how the post-race data stacked up. She got the race run to suit today and it was a great watch, capped off by an excellent ride from apprentice Luke Cartwright 👏 That brings up her 5th career win and takes her career prize-money to in excess of $460,000 💰 Congratulations to her ownership group 🤝

I’m extremely saddened to have to post that Sarah Beckstrom, one of the West Virginia National Guard Soldiers ambushed in Washington DC yesterday, has passed away. Hopefully she’s spending these moments next to our true king, and that her family finds comfort in these difficult times. I hope they had the opportunity to say goodbye. Rest easy soldier, we’ve got it from here.
