@ScienceAdvances (3/) Together with @UUClumpIsotopes @UUEarthSciences, we used the “#clumped #isotope thermometry” method to get very precise temperature information from layers in the shells, allowing us to reconstruct the temperatures of individual #seasons (spring, summer, autumn and winter).

Last month I had the pleasure of reviewing this nice student-led contribution by Melanie Brewer et al. @SciReports using #clumped #isotopes on freshwater #mollusks to reconstruct the effect of #river dams and changes in #discharge.
