In Tamil, there is just a single letter for both ka and ga. there is just a single letter for both pa and ba. there is just a single letter for both ta and da. there is just a single letter for both tha and dha. But Tamil has 3 na, 2 ra, 2-3 la. What a poor design!

Should not be difficult to people to learn some #Marathi phrases to deal with daily commute, etc. Even if a person learn 1 phrase a day for 30 days, it's done and dusted. Infact Marathi script is #Devanagri so for writing it will be even easy for the ones who knows to write #Hindi Not a big issue, why people and politicians make it look so bigger ????

Bombay high court has upheld #Maharashtra rule to display name boards outside shops & establishments in #Marathi in #Devanagri script saying it is reasonable. Said the Rule does bar on use of any other language.@TOIMumbai @timesofindia

People like me, who read #Kashmiri language in #Devanagri or #Shardha script have no use of decision. Best would to introduce both fonts & not just #Nastaliq font. Only half battle won 🙏
