Manila, in the Philippines, and outsourced to third parties.”
I’m failing to see how this is part of that improved communication plan CEO Kevin Sayer was promising after the #DexcomOutage.

Hi, I’m @dexcom CEO Kevin Sayer. I hope you forgot about that whole #DexcomOutage thing. We still haven’t figured out how to tweet just yet. Maybe in another decade.
Hey marketer of the year x2 @thejohnbernard.
You feel like including @dexcom as part of your company’s improved communication strategy?
The one Kevin Sayer said would come after that embarrassing #DexcomOutage?

Is Facebook still the primary communications venue for @dexcom in the event of a system failure?

It isn’t my intention to mock parent’s concerns. They are valid.
Mocking @dexcom for their communication bumbles is another matter.
Parents of diabetics are right to be upset about the #DexcomOutage.
Still no apology or explanation from @Dexcom management about the 48-hour #DexcomOutage. Frozen management. Negligent Board. Shameful. @FDArecalls @EricTopol @barbarakahn

Dexcom's SEC filings show multi-year profit growth & hefty bonuses for execs. Maybe funnel some of that cash into customer service, product reliability and a crisis comm. strategy better than "check Facebook?" #dexcom #DexcomOutage #T1D #Diabetes https://t.co/XQaPtNslxP
Impact of the #DexcomOutage: 10x as many new members as a normal weekend joining the largest user group on Facebook:
Yo, me and my fellow keyboard gangstas gonna roll up on @dexcom give’em the clickety-clack. You in, home girl?
#dexcomwarrior #dexcomoutage #peaceoutfingerpricks
I think I need to quit facebook. Just been called a "keyboard gansta" for saying it was stupid to call out people for being mad at dexcom when dexcom is the one that fucked up 😂 how long until I get kicked out of this group? #striketwo
Either @Dexcom Follow still isn’t fully functioning or sensor pooped after 4 days 🧐
Both plausible

@chrissyfarr let @dexcom know that not getting alerts could be life-threatening, and not a "Surprise". This was a disaster, that could have been a tragedy. Save the "suprise" for birthday parties and telling your husband your pregnant. #type1diabetes #DexcomOutage #diabetes
